Thought I watched it all but didn't see Ben, just Clive at College Green. Ben did the 18:30 headlines though.

Guess he was standing by in case of problems though from his Insta it looked like D to me but I might be mistaken.

The Five came from studio D yesterday for some reason so very likely would have come from there today if they had to cut to a studio.

A short aside and nothing to do with tv news, per se.

John Humphrys to be reunited on-air with Moira Stuart from next week. He presenting a breakfast show and she reading the news in it! Classic FM Radio.

We all know about the famous blooper Humphrys and Stuart were involved in back in the day.......the subtitles for the deaf on the BBC SON managed to catch it!

Anyway, as you were......just lightening the mood.....

Wasn't the story that lip readers were able to work it out, rather than subtitling putting it on-screen?

The latest round of changes taking place and these are the changes I’ve gleaned:

James Reynolds back from Rome to base as a newsreader

Mark Lowen from Istanbul to Rome

While Orla Guerin is now based in Istanbul this is as International Correspondent - whether a new Turkey Correspondent is appointed remains unclear

Hywel Griffith back to Cardiff as Wales Correspondent from Sydney

Shaimaa Khalil to become Sydney Correspondent

Sian Lloyd returns to role Midlands Correspondent from Wales Correspondent

Sima Kotecha back to news correspondent from Midlands

Glad to see they’ve changed up the weekend presenters on the news channel, looks like Geeta Guru-Murthy does the Saturday morning shift although it does not include Dateline London (she decamps from E for Carrie to pick up the broadcast). Haven’t seen much of Shaun Ley though on any broadcasts.

Shaun Ley did Dateline last Saturday and then the 2-7 NC shift last Sunday. I agree though he does seem to appear far less frequently now.
