I suspect Tim being on at 20:30 is a one off to give the team working on the 21:00 hour to prepare for the first duel headed programme in months and ensure the links to the Washington studio are all working properly.
Outside Source is 90 minutes on the schedule for the foreseeable
Seems a bit silly to have someone come in two hours early to do 30 minutes when there is someone before who's only done a 1 hour 30 shift, and somebody after who is only doing a 1 hour shift.
Not complaint though. I like Tim. And I like E. And I like UK news.
Mike did 4 nights per week for several years up until this March but has only done 3 since the start of the pandemic and the start of his shift being brought forward by an hour (meaning that he is now doing 3*4 hour stints on air rather than 4*3 hours)...
Reeta doing both the Six and Ten tonight, same as last night, meaning Huw, George, Fiona, Sophie and possibly Clive are all absent. Definitely in the depths of summer! I'm sure it was this week last year that Simon and Jane had their one day stints on the Six and Ten.
