What's happened to Julian Worricker these days? Haven't seem him for what feels like years.

His last appearance was the late shift on Friday 13th March. He hasn't appeared since and when you consider the likes of Rachel Schofield, Rebecca Jones etc (who are on an equal footing to him) have made a number of apoearances, I don't know what to suggest.

Perhaps he may be "shielding"? Or he's left the BBC, departing in a lowkey mannar...

Julian has been shielding for the past several months (https://www.telegraph.co.uk/health-fitness/body/rest-britain-gets-moving-condemned-lockdown/) but has now returned to some radio work.

Shaun Ley in for Ben Brown this morning - which either means Ben has finally taken leave or he is covering for Simon next week (who seems to also be off)

Or the other option (as i think sometimes has happened) is he's on the BBC1 Evening bulletins later as if it's Clive again tonight, he will have done the whole weekend for 2 weekends in a row.

This will be the first time in months someone other than Carrie or Ben has done the weekend lunchtime news on One.

Not quite as it seems Shaun Ley did the Early shift/Dateline London at the end of June (27th).

It is far from unusual on weekend mornings for political reporters (including some normally on regional news) to appear on BBC News.

Peter Saull certainly isn't "new".
