Makes me laugh how the channels remain separate later into the evening at weekends than weekdays.
Don't forget this is still a temporary measure which they're slowly coming out of. I'm sure by September something more permanent will be sorted (although of course, this is the BBC, where the C doesn't exactly stand for Common sense!).

There are still many questions to be answered - will the film review remain filmed in someone's bedroom? Will we loose all the branding that most of it has lasted less than a few years? Will simulcasts continue to the extent they currently do?
It's worth also pointing out that many presenters will be working less hours than is on their contract - and assuming this isnt going to change - are the beeb going to have to renegotiate contracts? In today's Times exclusive - I think I read Huw is still paid for both the Five and the Ten.
You're right in saying about September though, where we do know things are returning it seems to be in the first/second week of September.

Also normal simulcast on weekday's are 19:00-20:00 & 21:00-22:00 so its the hour in-between
I can’t help but speculate he was shunted off to world following his personal affairs. I won’t state them here. Google has the answers.
That’s old news. That happened seven years ago. The only development is that he’s married someone else and the tabloids decided to drag back that old story.
That won’t be related as to why he’s reappeared on the NC. I hasten to think the most likely reason is current circumstances requiring more presenters available on the NC.

I agree in part as I usually do with you RN, but there is no reasonable reason why a presenter who presented double shifts and who was a very familiar face to domestic viewers just vanised? It also happened when a certain female vanished from the NC, only to turn up years later in LA.
Goodness, who isn’t loving the return of Tim Willcox back on the NC? He’s the ultimate professional and breaking news pro!

Brilliant presenter and it's been great seeing him back again. Wish they'd send him on location a bit more again though. He really excels there. Been really great at doing the Papers as well - hope we continue to see more of him going forward
I think they started using him less after the whole Charlie Hebdo incident.

He vanished after the cuts in mid 2015, and that's when the certain female also started to appear less. But even in the couple of years before that (from about when they moved to BH in 2013) he was appearing less and less, and that personal thing happened in late 2012.
Could all be entirely innocent though, maybe it was down to Rota changes or Tim wanting to work less hours.
