They separated at 16:00 BST yesterday and have just done so again.

Maryam Moshiri and then Lukwesa Burak today on BBC World branded newscasts.

Who is anchoring on News Channel?

Looks like we're starting to see the programming separated out again, will be interesting to see what this week looks like.

Tim doing a NC shift while Lukwesa does a world shift is hopefully a sign that Tim will be doing some domestic stuff for the foreseeable future (and that Lukwesa is remaining at world).

I hadn't seen her before this weekend and I thought she was quite good.

Think Summer might be a funny one this year (when isn’t it). Notably because hardly anyone has taken any time off so far...

Lukwesa is my least favorite presenter of all time. I don’t find her style of presenting particularly engaging and when she’s covering a breaking news event i switch off, can’t cope with her.

Rebecca Jones has upped her game big time, an absolute pleasure to watch. She’s really got a hold of managing Breaking News so flawlessly.

It's odd - I remember TVF used to rave about Lukwesa when she did overnights on Sky and I never particularly understood the hype. Whereas these days the tables have turned I find her presenting quite warm and see her as a trusted newsreader whereas opinion seems to have turned on Lukwesa these days.
