I wouldn't jump on to any conspiracy theory over a Twitter handle change other than I don't think it's wise for any BBC (or ITN/ITV) employee, or indeed any company employee, who uses or wishes to use Twitter in a personal rather than professional, to include their employers name in their handle.
What I would say though is Naga, along with Louise and Charlie, are pretty much in the same position Susanna was in a few years back - they've been on Breakfast for a number of years and there really isn't anywhere for them to go within the BBC at the moment if they're looking for any career progression.

Not really anything else in Salford for them to do, back when Breakfast was based in London the presenters could do other News programmes but now Breakfast is all they do
I’ll personally be devastated if the headline “Munchetty to Leave BBC” appears anywhere soon.
I took Leeds to be a reference to C4. Although I'm not exactly sure what if any roles within their news output are actually going to be based there.
That was the correct reference Alex. I've no idea either what news and or current affairs may or may not come from C4's new HQ, but apparently Steph jumped ship after a top beeb producer from Breakfast encouraged the move.
Channel 4's news and current affairs could do with extra content, I'd say there was plenty of opportunity to bolster it. This is of course all speculative.
I too would be gutted to see someone as talented and as versatile as Naga leave the BBC whatever problems it's facing. As for Emily Maitlis leaving for GMB - I think hell would freeze over before that happened.
Doubt they will replace John. Vicki just seems to cover Laura now - something I’m all for.
Chris is quite a busy man as well - you see him on Breakfast (pol cor and presenter), the NC, Newscast, weekend BBC One and of course R4. No complaints though, he’s great.

Naga lives in the wider London area I think so she could take other roles if she wanted. I get the feeling Charle didn't relocate but have no evidence of that. The team might just all enjoy the balance that Breakfast provides for them in life.
