I spent Memorial Day afternoon at the beach, so I didn't tune into World News America.
But it seems that Katty Kay's basement studio is now fully equipped for her to present from home.

Yup she did. Ever since she started doing 100 Days she no longer did WNA. But they never made a formal announcement. I assume they intend when Beyond 100 Days is over she will return to WNA. But recently she’s been on MSNBC around the time WNA is on air.
Makes sense to have her do a show when Beyond 100 Days is off air.

Though I've been a regular viewer of BBC World's evening newscast picked up by PBS since the Mishal Husein days, my local station picks up a later, Mike Embley led broadcast for 6PM Pacific Time.
World News America - recorded much earlier, is replayed at 5PM Pacific, and I'm rarely home that early. I knew Katty had a new program, but I didn't realize she was totally off World News America.
It's interesting to note that if you google her, you'll see her identified in interviews as the presenter of WNA ... and Beyond 100 Days has lasted longer than it was originally envisioned.
Laura Trevelyan is an abysmal presenter ... she's stiff and rigid on the air, and has been since she used to fill in at the anchor desk for Katty on the old co-presentation many many years ago (and in my first spin around this forum). I find her to be pretty good reporter, and wish BBC would keep her in a role that she excels at.
