Nuala McGovern is leaving BBC Outside Source Radio to join BBC World News TV on a six month attachment. I’m not sure which specific programmes Nuala will anchor. In the last two weeks, she’s been on Impact, GMT and Outside Source.

Alpa's posted on Instagram she's heading back to work today, but doubt its on-air roll. Probably Friday in her normal 19:00 slot?

I doubt Alpa will appear on World any time in the near future as her shifts on World was on top of her main job as a correspondent for BBC London.

Wow, a new Rota thread! Why has the old one been closed? Is it do with the graphics refresh?

Not a regular viewer of Beyond 100 Days but found myself watching tonight and really think if the BBC ever get round to revamping the network news line up that it is time for Katty Kay to become a regular on a main bulletin. She'd suit the Six well and IMO a far better presenter than Sophie Raworth.

They should probably ask her first. She might not want to move thousands of miles.

I can't see Katty Kay getting the Six, she isn't that well known to domestic viewers apart from Beyond 100 Days. She's super talented definitely and suits her current position in America perfectly so should stay where she is.

BBC have still not implemented Reith onto the BBC News website's homepage, nor most of it regardless.

I do like the Christian Fraser / Katty Kay partnership on Beyond 100 Days and think they're both excellent at what they do. It would never happen in a million years, but in another universe, I think they'd be a great partnership for something like Breakfast (I know Christian Fraser has presented on rare occasions in the past).
