BBC News - New Set Or Not

So its all been confirmed BBC News will have a new studio for 1,6&10 and working lunch,newsround and Newsnight.

What do you think astons may look like ? Will they change them ? Well discuss that in the BBC News Thread!

But what do you want the studio to look like ? Put your plans here or just describe how you would like to see it !

Has it though, I thought Newsnight/Working Lunch/Newsround were the one's moving to this "versitile" set, o have I just missed something here?

Has it though, I thought Newsnight/Working Lunch/Newsround were the one's moving to this "versitile" set, o have I just missed something here?

I'm running off to check.

The new multi purpose set is for Newsnight/newsround/Working Lunch etc. But there is bound to be work involved with doing this so things will get moved around I'm sure. Then there's the question of the new Breakfast set and if that goes in with the nationals news then again there will have to be a new set for that. So potentially you will see some new sets and programmes in different studios while the work is all done.

I would have thought with Breakfast they'd just stick them either in the N24 studio or in a CSO for the re-building time.

Could that be more of what I think was studio 10? The one used with a rather odd CSO whilst the current N24 set was being built. Whilst looking for a few pics, it reminded me how warm, and nice the cream set was... sigh...

Well it certainly won't be TC10 as that is now the home of CBBC on BBC One.

Studio 9 used to be home to CBBC One/Two however a while ago (cannot remember precisely when) the CBBC Channel took over Studio 9, and CBBC One/Two moved into studio 10.

Studio 9 is now used for CBBC on Prime and TC2 is used for the CBBC Channel / Exchange / etc.
