Yeah they used the old titles.

I noticed on Channel Islands (just going through programme now) that they weren't in proper wide screen at the beginning, they sorted that but then played out a report and used on old Spotlight aston and the report was ended with BBC Spotlight Channel Islands, but the programme is now BBC Spotlight.
The next report had the correct titles.

Also notice they are using reporters email addresses rather than their names.

What shocking picture quality on the clearly recorded weather forecast for the Channel Islands!

Look East has a new opening shot for the two presenters, rather than face on its a side shot. There appears to be no close up sting. I wonder if a 'West' version of the titles have been done for the late bulletin. Norwich used upper case for the presenters name, while Cambridge used sentence case - oops!

No change to the Cambridge studio, still looking out on King's College, or at least I think it's King's.

And did anyone else's region do a mid programme headline round up, Look East did a national and regional headline.

Look East (West Sub Opt) had a shaky intro into the program at 6:30pm. Titles appeared to cut back to the Norwich feed, and yes Cambridge still has it's set from the original 1999 look so i guess now the rest of BBC News has gone backwards theres no point updating it.

But I feel there is nothing wrong with that set - still looks pretty good on screen plus 15 mins of broadcasting per weekday, does it need a new set?

Looks good on screen Shocked have you seen it? The broadcast quality from Cambridge is less than satisfactory most days.

BBC London News haven't changed their set at all - they've even left the red box which serves as an unwelcome reminder of the nasty old title sequence.

Is BBC London alone in using the 'wrong' music? Quite strange for us in this region to revert to a theme tune we haven't heard since 2001!

The problem with Cambridge is that I believe originally it was designed as a short to medium term solution. That appears to be more permanent now. I think there is also talk about BBC Radio Cambridgeshire moving to another location which would force the TV service to move as well.

I think for quite a few years nothing was done due to the propose new region based in Milton Keynes, which would have affected the Cambridge (West) opt-out.

I guess as it hasn't really changed for years it can seem slightly stale. However as previously mentioned, it's only used for a small amount of time per day, and looking at the 360degree studio tour the space is fairly limited.

But i thought time of use was irrelevant here! It was about acheiving a 'coherant' look.
