Talking of BBC London we seem to have acquired a new weather presenter called Wendy Hurrell, presumably to stand in for Peter Cockroft rather than having a forecast done down the line from the duty national presenter.

BBC London didn't, they just cut straight to Riz in the studio.

They should have - you probably thought what I did here in Yorkshire that a crash into Harry in the studio just didn't fit properly.
Fine for the regions that start with titles, but a sting would have looked far better into the programme.

Did any of the regions go into their local news with an ident tonight as the six finished properly, rather than with "now we join our news teams where you are"

Exactly, it seemed a bit disjointed

BBC London reverted to the unused 2008 title music this lunchtime, scroll to 31.50 to see it.
However it was probably a mistake as the "ON TV, ON RADIO, ONLINE" bit they added to the end board after the first week or so of the new titles was missing.

Not sure if this is the right thread, but I've just watched the online viewing of tonight's Look North (Leeds), and the very last item that was shown on TV was cut out, even from the headlines. I'm really annoyed because I wanted to catch something in the report that I missed.
Do the English regions normally cut some material out, because I cannot think of anything in the report which forced them to do so?
