I think it's for the Scottish Gaelic service, judging by the toponyms.

Looks like this new regional news programme will use similar titles to BBC Turkish.

It's definitely Gaelic...Inbhir Nis is Inverness, Glaschu is Glasgow and Dun Eideann is Edinburgh.

I think this is proposed to be a web-based service isn't it? I'm not aware of plans to include Scots Gaelic news programming on BBC Scotland. I think all Gaelic opts are on BBC Two now. The only stuff I've come across recently being the CBeebies Alba opt (have a go at watching The Koala Brothers dubbed into Gaelic - it confuses my kids no end!). I think that's one morning a week..?

Yes, Gill Sans is required to be used across the board, with bold and condensed variants being allowed to add style to graphics, or, in the case of condensed, to allow longer lines of text to be squeezed onto the telly. You should see the BBC Sport fonts used on all sport graphics too, I think I'm right in saying they're called DIN Condensed and Univers.

The only other fonts you might see on regional news output every now and then is the bespoke BBC One font on 'presentation slides' (for regional trails' endboards and slides for The Politics Show for example) and I expect the Children in Need font (Mallow) will start making appearances soon too!
