And the animated BBC logo from the "BBC Productions" endcaps was on the start of the floods sequence with the countdown music. That sequence did work really well though - I presume there isn't a long mix of the regions theme?

There is the 2 minute closer?

I thought it was a very good programme - a great effort and alot of hard work and the same goes for Thames Valley with Wes and Hannah live from Oxford - which makes a change to have a focus on Oxford. Its strange that its a bonus to have the programme presented live from inside the region!

Surprised there's been no mention of the start of tonight's BBC London News at 6.30

The headlines bed was broadcast clean with no v/o and no vt (just graphics), then when Louisa Preston appeared she said "Hello and welcome to the problem" Laughing

Ha, yes - there were sound problems right up to the start of the first package, so that's where they've started the on-demand version.

Just listened again to BBC London's breakfast show this morning, Jo Good introduces the show and Paul Ross corrects her and goes "no, the new way we introduce the show is now, hello and welcome to the problem!" Laughing

Dani Sinha of South Today was doing a live piece on BBC London last night, has she moved programmes?

Also in one of the reports, former Newsroom South East presenter Sharon Doughty appeared in a package about the Kids Taskforce website.

Yup, Dani has moved from Southampton to MHS. She presented their late bulletin the other night.
