I've put the new Look East titles on YouTube: http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=mhyuw23KMW8

Just a quick note that if you are using the new YouTube player, and watching the high quality video, it will appear as an anamorphic video rather than 16:9. It's a bug on the player with 16:9 HQ videos, just change to full screen and back, and all should be well.

Yes, I'm not sure when Stewart and I was dropped, but all the presenters appear to say Suzie and me etc

Probably when somebody realised it was grammatically incorrect.

I'm guessing Silverstone must be loving the new titles, as their website address is clearly visible in the sequence.

I personally was left more worried about who me was, than the fact it wasn't grammatically correct.

Surely that is giving prominence and multiple advertising to Silverstone each day?
I can see those titles being amended VERY soon!

Laughing I thought that straight away! I'm not quite sure how that got through, surely it's glaringly obvious? Unless of course the son of the owner of Silverstone created them.

Yep - what is wrong with that?

"Hello from Stewart and I" would be incorrect.

To tell if you are using me or I correctly in these situations try splitting the sentence.

"Hello from Stewart and hello from me" is correct, "Hello from Stewart and hello from I" is incorrect - therefore when contracting it should be "Hello from Stewart and me"

I is often used incorrectly instead of me - often by people who think they are being well-spoken...

BTW - Nice to see that Look East are still providing their audience with a quick look at the London studio as well...

In fairness that was an incredibly quick opt there was no more than a second for the opt to take place

That seems to be happening an awful lot at the moment...

That shot of Silverstone is also used in the BBC Oxford News titles! Shocked Until about 30-seconds-ago, I didn't even know where Silverstone is, but I've just Googled, and found that it's in Northamptonshire (the NN 12 postcode suggests it's more towards an edge of the county, not near the centre/county town)

I assume that it must be in the very west of Northants, if it qualifies as being in the BBC Oxford News region? If the BBC Oxford weathermap is anything to go by, the region seems to be just Oxon, Bucks, Swindon. I assume that west Northants is strictly a fringe-y area? Confused

If so, it seems a bit inconsistent that no Northants labelling appears on the weathermap, yet Silverstone appears in the title sequence! Rolling Eyes Does BBC Oxford News ever actually mention news stories from fringe-y areas?

I'd assume that the daytime and weekend South Todays definately only mention the "strict" parts of the Oxford sub-region (i.e. Oxon/Bucks/Swindon), which is therefore at odds with the Oxford bulletins' seeming willingness to acknowledge fringe-y areas.
