Hull just managed to play out their opening titles with the right audio and just a blank white screen in vision.

Newsline's new set does look pretty good - one of the few regions that now has a complete, new, unified look - titles, studio, astons etc.

Would be no surprise if it was - most of the older regional and national centres had good sized studios - Newcastle being the biggest IIRC

Points West is tiny!

The late titles in Wales, with the counties flying about -- though sadly, for the first time in 15 years, no dragon (sniff)

Really? I though they'd swapped the studios there and regional programmes have the old network studio, where the likes of Animal Magic used to be made.

Probably one of the more drastic of the set changes in England, TVUK has full coverage of the new look Look North Leeds.

Christ - the Look Leeds set looks like a throwback from the 80s. Hideous.

So are Reporting Scotland the only ones who don't use red for their astons?

And do any other of the Nations & Regions animate their straps?

All good except the usual lack of thunderclaps during the headlines, they've never liked using them, oh and the total inability to have a placename next to the LIVE bug, something I thought they finally get round to doing! All in all a bit more modern and refreshed.

Do any other regions apart from London have a white strap for the location rather than black?

Also it seems to stretch in from the left so you have a white block, then the word LIVE in a red box, the the location in the white box.

It also vanishes as soon as the name aston appears and reappears after the other has gone!

Just looking at the online version of the late Reporting Scotland bulletin, and why does the studio look like a hope made version decorated in brown packing paper?
