Are all the regional weather forecasters at work, too? Are the regional forecasters employed by the BBC or the Met Office?

Look East had a live forecast with Alex for BBC Look East (East) and a recorded bulletin for BBC Look East (West). Look East (West) also managed a look ahead to the weekends sporting action but didn't see that on the East edition.

I thought Emma hadn't mentioned "News at One" - she said something like "welcome to the BBC News-" but sounded as though she had stopped herself before saying "at one".

Edit: Bets are on for who will present the NC/ Ten tonight...

Paul Hudson was on as usual, but his forecast was just for the usual Yorkshire patch, not covering the North East.

Thank you 'm_in_m' and Steve. Wild Weather seems to be a regional programme?

The vast majority of Surrey is BBC London's patch including Oxshott.

I'm sure there was a slot a while back one evening for the English Regions. I believe Chris Bell from WeatherQuest presented the BBC East edition while he was covering for Julie Reigner.

Yeah it's a BBC West production. Strange choice of filler!

NE& cumbria and Yorkshire broadcast a single bulletin for both regions. On BBC Scotland, Stephen Duffy presented a five munite bulletin, with just two main reoprts, one sport story, three brief reports, and a weather report over a slide.

No Birmingham weather presenter. (Normally Ben Rich or Genelle Aldred, as Shefali no longer does Fridays, reading the news on Sundays instead.) Read by Pat Burns instead.
