I'm sure during the last strike Look North Hull got something out early evening. IIRC Peter Levy still showed up for work

That's right, just some extra trailers. And yes, Levy turned up for work today by the looks of it. Radio Humberside isn't showing a change to the schedule for his radio show which just finished.

She used to be a reporter for Granada during the 90s, I think she became editor and then defected to the BBC, I've only just got in so I haven't seen a thing all day. I take it there's no 3pm News today? If not 6.30 should be interesting.

Good Lord, jamej. You're so right!! Could you imagine Robert Peston presenting a bulletin? Viewers would even defect to Channel Five, as opposed to enduring that! Keep him well within the confines of the Business Unit......................

I like the line 'we're experiencing technical problems' sums BBC News up sometimes!

It would have been more entertaining if BECTU were on strike too. If that had been the case I reckon the simulcast would have been most probably in N8.

The strike makes the channel more interesting than normal!

Rachael Hodges did the 2:30 news on 5live.

Given how many big guns have turned up for work I doubt the second strike will go ahead.
