BBC press office implies Radio 1 will have a 12:45 Newsbeat.

I've not been listening though so no idea who's been on this morning,

Dominic Byrne and Tina Daheley were on Chris Moyles's breakfast show as usual, but the show was coming from a theatre in Scotland today as the show is on tour. I don't know whether Tina and Dom are NUJ members though.

No Newsbeat.

You expect Newsbeat to be on time? Laughing

It often runs late so it can get away with running short (although Fearne's babbling helps).

The 5:45 when it runs late will usually run past 6:00.

I doubt the signers are part of the NUJ!

Strains, beginning to show imo, the Myanmar-Burma report seemed to be a filler current affairs story rather than news. Coming out of it for the Woolas Statement was messy.

Emma Crosby now at the TOTH on World. Great to see her. She is an excellent news anchor. Peter Dobbie may return later on?
