Andrew Neil on the Daily Politics - as I mentioned earlier he doesn't normally do Fridays which have recently been Jo Coburn

Though he isn't in the mood to read out emails

I guess this is a recorded announcement, I wish BBC World do a live announcement for once.

Or maybe they haven't got anyone to sort through them?

There are still three regional bulletin slots today after the news at 1 o'clock, 6 o'clock and 10 o'clock. Watch out for some unfamiliar faces presenting bulletins!

GMT on BBC2 replaced by Castle in the Country

I assume you meant the Daily Politics - Castle in the Country did briefly replace it in the EPG, before it returned (though still billed as Jo Coburn). Lots of studio guests (and a stockbroker down the line), and not much in the way of VTs so far.

No I meant GMT. My EPG shows Castle in the Country at 12.30

One report on The Daily Politics, which seems normal for Fridays. No Giles at Westminster with Top of the Political Pops though

EDIT - Tope of the Political Pops is on, but recorded rather than live

Sorry my bad, I got my times mixed up and thought that Animal Park had replaced GMT. I'll go back to sleep now.

Nigel Slater's Simple Suppers will be replacing the regional news on BBC One today. Wallace and Gromit tomorrow, apparently!

Freeview EPG states there will be a 5 minute regional bulletin at 13:30, with Simple Suppers taking the rest of the slot. It also suggests the 1 o'clock News will be a full half hour.

BBC press office implies Radio 1 will have a 12:45 Newsbeat.

I've not been listening though so no idea who's been on this morning,

now I'm curious on what is happening on BBC World Service, since they are definitely affected as well.
