As much as I like Nick, I wish he'd read web addresses properly. Just about every time he has to read it out he says bbc.co./news

It's the fact that Natasha is sitting next to him at the desk. It's affecting his coherency and ability to read from an autocue.

So what's the excuse for his weekend solo shifts then?

I heard there is a giant golden statue of Kerplunk just behind the main camera in N8. Apparently thats why Peter Sissons stutters his way through his shifts.

I think Nicholas has been great on the Six so far this week. I'm surprised to admit that he's actually easier to watch than George. He seems to have a lot of enthusiasm and energy whereas George is quite serious and reserved. He's made the Six bearable again - even making Natasha tolerable. I think the trouble with the George/Natasha pairing is that they are both fairly dull and boring. At least with Nick, there is some energy injected into the mix, thus making Natasha easier to watch. George is far more suited to his World News Today programme on BBC World. Maybe it would be better for him to be moved to BBC World permanently and take on more responsibilities there?

I have long maintained that is the best place for george.

Nicholas paired with say Jane Hill or Sian Williams would be excellent on the six.

It's great isn't it. Well if the Beeb can't have Mac's in the studio he might as well have his own in the field.

The new iMacs would look good in TC7.

She even referred to a 'jurlanist' on todays six.

Now she can't even pronounce what she is 'supposed' to be.
