We all know Natasha is a lovely, principled journalist as she aptly demonstrated by not attending the rally celebrating Alan Johnston's release as it was drizzling and might ruin her hair.

Onto more important issues, the Ten played out the wrong report for Brown's visit to Bush. They played the one from the 6 saying the news conference was "in the past hour". In this era of not misleading viewers I thought it was odd this wasn't clarified.

I think you are correct. I watch the 6 occasionally and i see nothing wrong with her. She is as good and capable as any other Presenter.

From what I hear the only presenters that will survice the move to BH with a BBC 1 slot are Fiona Bruce and Huw Edwards. George will go to BBC World (World News Today ect.), Sophie to N24 or Breakfast (again) and I don't know what they plan to do with Natasha.

Shame because I think George and Natasha make quite an interesting on-screen double act. Having said that the Six hasn't done too well rating wise with them at the helm. Loosing 'Britains Favourite News Programme' to the Ten.

David is a very long-serving member here. He was one of the originals back in March 2001.

As for Natasha, I can't say I'm a fan but I respect the fact that other people have different opinions. She's not terrible but I think the BBC has better female newsreaders. What troubles me is that she's done so much entertainment programming. Now, I can't take her as seriously on the news. I think she should decide to stick to one or the other. Compare Natasha to female presenters on BBC World: Lyse Doucet, Nisha Pillai, Geeta Guru-Murthy, etc. Those I can take seriously delivering the news. Sadly, with Natasha, I can't.
