Ohhhh..... an absolute classic on the 10 tonight for viewers in Scotland.

Headlines come on - with a clip of BBC Scotland presenter Jackie Bird hosting the Scottish Children in Need optout to illustrate the BBC phone-ins scandal.

So guess who was presenting the Reporting Scotland headline sequence 15 seconds later. Laughing

Just wondering, was that white stripe on the floor ment to be there, but removed in the rehearsal days of the set? If it is ment to be there, it would make sense as TC7's got a stripe on the floor, as thats part of the design. But in the picture of N6 it could just be some protective covering.

That really is quite a nice shot isn't it? Shame they can't have it that way actually on air what with the short wall, being that - just too short for the sofa to fit in....

It is like that on air, if you notice the Breakfasr on the wall it has been reversed, so it looks as though the image when broadcast was reversed.

I read a couple of weeks ago that the whole programme is 'flipped', and in actual fact the desk remains in the same place as the 1/6/10 etc.
I think it would be better if the desk was in the middle for the six, the right for opens/reports by the presenters, and the left side for weather.

Bull. Laughing You can see the edge of the wall on Breakfast when they zoom out from the desk(because it is situated at the shorter side), which you don't when its on the others, and yes, so does that mean that the mugs are flipped Laughing

Why is there a small break in the clock and then a small red bar afterwards?

Because that's how it looked the first day or two of the re-brand.

Thats what the clock looked like for the first few weeks. As far as i know theres no specific reason but it got took off not long after the relaunch.

Laughing That's one of the funniest things I've heard!

Where did you read it? Are there any other gems there? "The moon is actually made from cheese", "Cars work by petrol drinking gerbills who go round and round on wheels inside the engine"...
