For those who haven't ventured into the BBC South thread... a new look South Today Breakfast bulletin was unveiled today with new titles and new colours for the info screen. The titles were in the style of Breakfast, however I was unable to capture the video, but I do have a couple of images... no set change or music change to report however.

Perhaps the reason we haven't ventured into the BBC South thread is that we're not interested in BBC South - I'm certaily not.

New titles as in a new variation of the titles, or was it the one that is used on NEWS 24 overnight?
New variation. It was just another short title variation, with quite a random mix of the theme too. It didnt really match with the pictures.
no short titles it was a mix between bbc news 24 overnight and the 6/10 update at 10.35/7.00

I'm liking this Louise Minchin lady presenting the news at one. Far easier to watch than the regulars, she seems much more at ease.

That sort of thing used to be very common on BBC News in the eighties. I recall Nicholas Witchell and Michael Buerk being the only two newsreaders appearing on BBC1 for a whole two weeks during the eighties summer. It went like this:
One O'clock News: Nick and Mike rotated on a daily basis
Six O'clock News: Nicholas led with Michael as co-presenter
Nine O'clock News: Michael led with Nicholas as co-presenter
Sue Lawley, Philip Hayton, Andrew Harvey, Moira Stuart, Frances Coverdale and Mike Smartt were all on leave (or away) at the same time. It was an admirable feat for Nicholas and Michael. And they were good together too!

Are the days all rolling into one or has Dermot done Breakfast, the Six and Ten today?
