That was a 'different' shot on the BBC 6'o clock news n the N6 studio with Mark Easton's report - at the end they zoomed in on Mark .. don't normally do that, it looked pretty good when a journalist is finishing off a report in the studio - has anyone got screencaps?

George felt pleased with his self after giving his World News Today on BBC4 a quick promo - bless Razz

Has anyone noticed that on the six at the moment, the network announcement (in London anyway) puts Natasha before George? I thought they put the most senior presenter first, and George is still 'anchoring' the program. Just a wonder.

Ben Brown and Emily Maitlis with tonight's Six apparently, an interesting pairing. I quite like the cross-use of BBC ONE/N24 presenters, seems like a simple and effective idea.

Indeed, Ben Brown's "i'll be back with Emily Maitlis and the Six O'clock News..." was a bit of a giveaway tbh.

There was no regional ident before the 6 here in the South West, although we got the regional headline insert. It's becoming quite regular now.

Did this happen elsewhere? I hope they are not getting rid of the regional ident, after all, it's the only channel we see it on now on a regular basis.

Might've been because it was unusual(ish) presenters tonight.

Effective at what exactly?

Is Mr. Brown showing any signs of a personality yet?

Does anyone know why the BBC seem to have such a high regard for Ms Maitlis?

So many questions.

I dont think they do otherwise they would have give her her old job back with ben brown

its a big circle
step 1.emily goes on maternity
step 2 joanna gosling takes her place
step3.joannas old slot is given to anita mcveigh.
step 4 emily gets anita mcveighs old job as a relife presenter acroos the bbc

so i think she has been sent back to the bottomshes only a relife presenter you know all of the slots have been taken

I think if I were her, I'd be a lot happier in the role she's in now.
