It's a shame they don't use that view on screen occasionally. It would help to make the link between News 24 and the busy newsroom. It could make a nice alternative sequence on the half hour with a tilt up and slow zoom towards the N24 set - rather like the early 90s ITN atrium titles.

I have a question: If BBC World features the main WBR graphics, why does N24 use just the main News graphics?

Shouldn't it 'British Airways' Iberia Bid' as opposed to British Airway's Iberia Bid'?

Anyway, why do News 24 and World take different graphics for the same program? I like the blue.

Just had a thought: today's tea-time news bulletin on BBC One is scheduled for 5.25pm, but in Scotland - due to the Cup Final - it is scheduled for 5.45pm.

Will they produce two bulletins - they can hardly be naughty and just show a recording can they?

so the backdrop of the newsroom in N8 is really then,it dose look more digital than real espessially when you look at the (1999-2003)set

i must ask what did happen to N3

It's real in Both BBC World's set, (N9), and News 24's set (NCool. It'd definatly not projected. Rolling Eyes

I believe on previous occasions they have produced two bulletins as its only a case of repeating the same news. As long as N6 is clear from the previous programme. If not i think BBC Scotland have just integrated the National news into there own programme before.

the news at midday came from N6 due to the polotics show having a week off.
i cant see why they didnt just do it from N8 like on saturdays

Ermm...why would the Politics Show having a week off have any bearing on the availability of N6? The PS comes from TC7, as does SundayAM before it normally.

I didn't see the news at midday, but if they are using N6 on a Sunday then there must be someting going on - was someone wearing black - is there a royal death??? Shocked

that news is normally done in TC7 in front of a cso screen

it would save them money to do it from N8 like on saturdays

That would be politically dodgy, given the calls for a Scottish Six which the Beeb is keen to avoid.
