Watching the Six the other day i have noticed that the floor is looking very scruffy again, especially in the presenters area (where the desk goes at Breakfast). It seemed full of potmarks or sratches or marker points.
I also noticed on Working Lunch yesterday that the baking tray [in TC7] was pretty tatty as well, again with marks and sratches (or the top layer of paint peeling off!).
Does anyone know if they're going to touch up these areas again soon?
Would it not be better to paint it black like in TC7, or at least darker than it is now - it seems to show up every little mark at present.
(Have not got the gizmos to upload pics - if asnyone has, maybe they can highlight those areas?).

They probably will. Hopefully when BBC News moves to Broadcasting House we'll get some lovely, shiny new sets.

He's done it since at least 1991 - he presented the first early-morning news update which was a mini-substitute for Breakfast News at weekends.

There are marks on the floor to show where the legs of the sofa go and the "coffee table". Similarly there are marks on the baking tray to show the different positions for the desk (it's at a slightly different angle for breakfast than on the national news)
You can just make out the marks in thie pic:
