I saw it and am mystified.but not overworried.

Inevitably whatever it is will break somewhere on the net, banning the BBC is not the thing to do, and the injunction will prove useless.

At keast that's what I hope will happen.

We might finally get something interesting on the news now.

Reeta Chakribati has just done a similarly nondescript 2-way on News 24.

It already has - or at least we know the nature of it. Something to do the discovery of an email (content as yet unknown) in connection with Lord Levy. The various political blogs are gradually picking it up.

Did anybody else just see that on the Ten? Nick Robinson was reporting from Downing Street for about 20 seconds on the fact that the BBC can't show a report Laughing

I'm paraphrasing here, but it pretty much went like:

"Nick, can you tell us more?",

"No, Fiona, the BBC has to stay schtum for the moment due to an injunction",

"Nick, thanks."

There was a longer two-way with him on Newsnight, although it pretty much went over old ground.

You'd think the Beeb would have broadcast some sort of summary report of the revelations on the Six or N24 the second the rumours of an injunction started, but before they got served. They often do that anyway, and it would surely have made it harder to get an injunction...

Looks like Nick Owen's first News 24 bulletin on BBC One at midday today unless something changes.

Nick Owen doing the lunchtime bulletin on BBC One today, and the last second of the BBC News 24 countdown went out on BBC One, someone slightly eager in presentation?

We seen the spinning globe for about a second, then the end of the countdown and back to the globe.

Strange seeing Nicholas Owen on BBC One...

Does anyone know whether the BBC is going to officially name any secondary presenters for the 1 and 6? I think they're little stint of mixing News 24 presenters with the nationals is ruining it. And are they going to make Emily deputy on the 1? She's been doing them every week for a long time now except for a few weeks ago (but that was because she was on the 10). I like both Emily and Jane Hill, but think that Jane Hill should get a regular job on BBC1 (maybe move Jane to the 1 and 6 on Fridays and weekends, and move Emily to Janes current slot?)

Its been about 5 months now since Darren Jordon left so I dont think we will see a fixed deputy for the one.

I wonder if Sian will return to cover for Natasha on the six now she back? In the last month or so we have seen many different stand-in presenters (Dermot, Jane, Ben, Jon).
