I like it, with the thunderclaps it works, on N24 with the synth it didnt. I'm glad they've kept it.

Nice new news 24 pointer though, it strikes me that the nationals are always treated as an afterthought, in the sense that only half the job is completed on a refresh, as shame as last may the nationals received a big improvement.

The start of the titles with the sun appearing from behind the globe remind me very much of the Planet Earth title sequence! Still looks good, though.

The transition on the nationals is rubbish. It's the old one which they've quite literally bodged to fit the new style, if you look frame by frame you can see the old globe and ribbons animating then the new ones fade in again over the top of it. Also the globe animation jars slightly, its fast then suddenly stops, then speeds up again when it animates off...
