I've been thinking about this for a while, and I believe the six should move more towards the ten.

During Match of the Day I assume, probably at half time.

That is indeed what happened, but it was scheduled before MOTD in the radio times. I don't know if there was a bulletin at that time as well. If not, then we've had no regional news today, because they went straight back to the football for the second half.

Any news on when BBC News and Newsnight etc. will start sharing one studio for a few weeks? Sometime in January I heard a while back...?

For example, have a brief, national-only 'still to come' rather than 'at 14 minutes past six, our headlines' followed by 20-30 seconds of 'to come'.

That was what happened on the six in the virtual era. Half way through the programme, they only told us the minor stories that were coming up. They only re-capped the main headlines at the end.

There was a short national summary before Football Focus, followed by the regional news. They then did an extra bulletin during half time, as well as the usual late news after 10pm.

No there was a news bulletin, national & regional at 4.15pm - 4.30pm prior to Final Score.

Sorry, I got the football programmes confused - it was indeed before Final Score, not Football Focus (though I'm sure there was a lunchtime bulletin before Football Focus!).

How will we know if Breakfast and the 1, 6 and 10 have moved into the Newsnight studio (the name of which I can never remember - TC8?).

Is the only difference the floor? If so, isn't it possible that they could have painted the floor over the weekend to be the same as N6? That way they could move out of N6 without us noticing.

Have they moved already?
