Yep, that is what I believe will be happening.
Not sure what a single presenter would have to do with the merry-go-round, which is why I said 'perhaps'!

I think it's just there's no cover for 'Breakfast' - Louise on the 1 / News 24, Kate off doing Panorama and "other commitments" - all will probably be back to normal next week or the week after when the we lose the tail end of the Christmas rotas.

Yea, I've always liked Sophie's style - she really developed as a presenter on 'Breakfast' with Jeremy bewteen 2000 and 2002.

Yea, I've always liked Sophie's style - she really developed as a presenter on 'Breakfast' with Jeremy bewteen 2000 and 2002.
I still belive Sophie and Sian could make a great six o'clock news between them, and it would be even better if they presented 5 days plus the ten on fridays, but alternated each week between them with the other doing breakfast Mon-Thurs.
I suspect Kate will be taking over the one permanently anyway, as I really can't see the beeb moving her back to the 8pm! Besides, if she wants to be the next Kaplinsky she should take over Sophie's postition!
