Breakfast goes solo at weekends from Saturday... perhaps this has something to do with it?

That's what it says in the Radio Times....... my conclusion from this was that they hadn't got full information! I can't see any reason why it'd need to be single-headed, wherever it comes from. (I'm assuming N6 CSO position is unlikely )

I believe that Weekend Breakfast is only going to be live from 0600 - 0630, 0700 - 0730, 0800 - 0930 with fillers between 0630 - 0700, 0730 - 0800 and 0930 - 1000 for a few weeks. The first of these being a full length Click at 0630. The need for a double header really isn't there. If something breaks Maxine could be called in early to start at 0900 leading up to 1300.

But Breakfast wouldn't be Breakfast with one presenter! This would be dumming down a step too far!

i do feel a bit sad that the 'cuts' are now being seen with presenters shifts being cut. How do they decide which presenter it should be - alternate perhaps??
