I think this has gone far enough now, folks. I think we should all agree to disagree and not take this one any further. Prime Minister is entitled to have his own opinion of Ben Brown, just as the rest of us are entitled to our opinions. Let's move on now...
How much longer do we think George will stay on the six? He's been on it for ages now and surely he must be getting bored. Personally, I don't think this 'Single headed six' is going to change anything - just no more awkward looks between presenter's lines.
George said himself that he wanted to do more reporting, I he's hoping that the new six will make it a bit more interesting, otherwise move on in the BBC.
How long do we think George will stay on the six???
(and if he were to leave who would replace him?)
Oh and who's going to present the 8pm bulliten, will it still happen and when?
In my opinion, George is much more suited to BBC World. He has an extensive knowledge of world affairs and he is therefore not used to his full potential on the Six. I think a permanent role on World would be much better for him. I do think his presenting style has improved over the years, though. I remember when he started off on BBC One as understudy to Anna Ford on the One O'Clock News in 1999 and he is far more relaxed now and has more of an onscreen personality.

He still makes me feel cold on the six though - imagine Jeremey Paxman doing Newsround tommorow!
