IIRC the Six is due to go single-header next month. I doubt the studio changes will happen that soon.

Yes that was the plan but maybe they will delay the switch to 'single-headedness' until the new year/studio changes.

Would expect single-heading before the studio switch - it shouldn't make much odds as the Newsnight and BBC One studios are very similar in most ways. (Though they'll lose a corner for the reporter to stand in for big screens)
