Was Newsround in N6 today rather than TC7? Looked like a grey floor rather than black on the bits I saw

No it was in TC7

N6 has a grey floor. TC7 has a black floor with a grey oblong in the middle.

Does anyone know what's happened to Margaret Gilmore?

I noticed at the start of the 6 tonight that on the M1 bus crash, they had a live strap which was the old one, transparent red with the BBC logo at the left hand side.

Used the same strap for the 'Coming Up' section of the Nationwide Music Awards

She volunteered to leave in one of the recent rounds of cuts.

I thought she was on holiday or something, she was very good.

Good use of graphics on the Ten tonight - that ball thingy had a shadow effect on the studio like it was actually there.

I believe she rather reluctantly 'volunteered' after she was told they wanted her to become a religious affairs correspondent as opposed to home affairs. So she quit instead.

Interesting to see Rajesh Mirchandani (sp?) in Washington introduced as 'Washington Correspondent' on N24 just now.

Ooh. I wonder if thats a permenant fixture for him, over in the US. He was great when he covered stories on Midlands Today, and in the Midlands, on the Nationals.
