How come BBC WORLD get nice big plasma screens and NEWS 24 get back-projection screens which aren't nearly as clear

Well we only have one big flash plasma, it would be good to see one on the other side. But they obviously can't afford it.

i'll take the plasma screen with the animation on it afterwhich, i'll start reporting the news.... hehehe...
No, forget abt that how about all the music. all the titles, idents, jingles and everyhting else... although i dun think you could consider that a furniture. lol

News 24's is a heck of a lot bigger than their old Plasmas. The plasmas they had in the "spaceship" era set...

... were the same size as the world one but as they never stood next to them like that they looked nowehere near as fabulous

The World Plasma is bigger than the old News24 ones and indeed the old World one

is it? I was under the impression it was 50" like the second set of N24 ones. The old world one was 32 the same as the orignal N24 one (the low hanging fruit set)

agreed on your second point, but the current nationals desk is way too small for 2 people. the whole set at the moment just seems way too claustrophobic and compacted. they aren't making good enough use of the space that they do have, and the fake newsroom background still doesn't help.
