...maybe get rid of BBC Parliment?

The BBC are legally obliged to do it, and it costs nigh on zilch to run. All it does is take the feed from Parliament, superimpose some astons over it and then pump it out to Freeview, VM and Sky.

Yep. It would save almost nothing.

I no..... just scrap BBC 3 and BBC 4 and get rid of BBC Radio 7, who ever listens to it, and maybe............

axe BBC Radio 6 music, because there is no reason for it in my view, and due to the scandels, it is tainted the radio channel.

Concentrate on the main 6 radio channels, and on the main two channels, BBC 1 and 2, and maybe get rid of BBC Parliment?

And nobody would lose their jobs if they did all that!

Scrap BBC 4? That's ridiculous, loads of people listen to that, and it has loads of great content.

I am just thinking of a mainstream BBC, pointless to have BBC 3 and 4 if they broadcast only from 7pm to the early hours.......

BBC 3 is like a bigger brother to Nuts TV basically

Im not thinking of job cuts, where the BBC can save money

but many ppl on BBC radio 7 won't lose their jobs because they work on other jobs on the BBC - childrens

but what is the point of BBC radio 7

Sometimes i don't see the point of 1 Xtra - because of the new BBC Radio 1 schedule

Get rid of stupid '2 hour shows' on BBC Local Radio, one that comes to mind is WM's early show, 5am - 7am, why can they not start Breakfast show at 6am, like all other stations, why must we have 2 hours of tripe from some ex Trafficlink / Metro Networks cast off.

Streamline unessersary shows on both tv and radio, give Jonathan, Ross a pay cut, pension off Wogan and Brucie and stop paying 'tallent' ridiculous amounts of money for doing so little.

Why axe Wogan - he is one of the most popular broadcasters on Radio Two, and is a significant reason for it being such a popular network. He has remained pretty loyal to the BBC for decades (and only did his Terry and Gabby show on Five when the BBC allowed his TV contract to lapse) and has to be much better value than Wossy...

It's the BBC's most successful digital radio station and costs buttons to run. It's not much more than a computer churning out repeats from the BBC radio archive. Excellent value for money really.

Yes - and it was one of the reasons that a lot of people gave for buying a digital radio. Apart from a small amount of original kids programming it re-uses high quality drama and comedy shows that would otherwise just sit in a vault gathering dust.
