Certainly interesting.

I always though the music was synth. All the orchestra effort seems over the top.

Correct me if I'm wrong but I think David Lowe used real instruments for the first lot of his BBC News music, or at least for the drums.

I prefer the real orchestra, particularly the violins. It's a shame the headline vamp's thunderclaps aren't as dramatic.

I think in that film they're performing the full version.... there's a six minute version along with various re-mixes of the countdown (one being the 'concert mix' that's on David's website)
