There is a video where Huw Edwards explained his day on the BBC Six O Clock News and he suggested that it was all delayed - to avoid anything happening in the newsroom that shouldn't appear on screen. That's not to say later on they didn't use pre-recorded footage.

everyone believed the studio backdrop was real, but it was actually a time delayed feed.

Wasn't half of it live but the other half was reflected and on a 15 minute delay?

It was all delayed by about 15/20 mins. One image was flipped and probably had a longer delay.

Neither of them were live. Both were delayed, one of them being 15 minutes behind the other.

Reboot
No idea where to put this, so I'll bung it here... Working Lunch just used a pre-N24 relaunch bg for a website item (i.e., black with animated red & gold ribbons). Is that normal?

Gar Amroliwala annoys me so much when he holds is paper like that and especially when he looks at the other presenters screens and papers, he does this a lot esp during breaking news... really frustrating to watch.

World seemed to be prepared for it and welcomed UK viewers, so it seems there was at least some amount of planning to it

Maybe for the BBC One bulletin to be broadcast, its possible they're trying a different handover.

Wonder if it is problems in N6, looked like it was taking a while for VT to play for things like Click, and we got two lots of titles instead of a countdown into the news at 12.

Maybe they're rebooting N6?
