Out of interest, will we be getting new threads for News Channel pres and National News pres to usher in a new era for BBC News? A new thread for World News was created when they moved.

Simon McCoy's twitter page retweets a few tweets saying the launch is at 1pm.
Would this mean the morning shift would be from TVC?

Yes, just like World did, it will be at TVC until 1pm when the NBH is introduced.

Just thought I'd mention that I had a tweeting session with Sam Taylor (News channel controller) earlier - and he said that from Monday, we'll see a selection of new promos for the channel advertising the presenters and specific show slots, such as the Paper Review.

The Film Review, as it'll now be called, really shows off what they can do in NBH with the ability to change colours in the set and put different backgrounds on the screens, makes it feel like a separate programme all of its own.

Presume that's from Studio E? Presumably sat at screens without the newsroom backdrop?
