Well I not sure I this has gotten past me, but I only just clicked BBC news is moving, but it seems were still going to be stuck with the old look for a few years to come....

On those so-called "new ways of presenting the top stories" didn't they do things like presenters standing-up in front of the video screen a decade ago when they relaunched N24?

Yes I started to like news 24 after that they improved a lot if things at the same time it felt dynamic then they went backwards in 2008/9 when they moved over to N6 and it was poor again, World moved into n8 and it's operation has continued to improve, creating a number of decent programmes in the first place.

I highly highly doubt it, as BBC World News is commercially funded with adverts, whereas the rest of the BBC in the UK isn't.
