Reflection on the current set up once again and the infamous virtual newsroom background. We've all been very critical of it and now we know it was never meant to be used for so long. The night version actually looks decent even today but it's the daytime version that became a total mess, transforming into some kind of fluorescent radioactive green. It's like something from a bad sci fi B movie. It was more gray and in the beginning and looked ok.
You would be appalled by the setup at North East and Cumbria where the background is a complete neon blue washout on the night time version.
Tim Wilcox is on now. Reckon its his last broadcast from TVC. I am now wondering if Maxine will be on tomorrow or not. If not see you at NBH next weekend

Hi. I understand you're fairly new, but discussions about rotas and presenters shifts etc. usually take place in the following thread...
The last BBC News Weekend bulletin that will be broadcasting from TVC tomorrow at 10:10pm. I wonder if they will have a little piece about the last broadcast tomorrow evening

After they failed to on Friday, I imagine they will be on Sunday since that will be the last BBC One appearance of N6. Then a repeat tribute on NC at 12:55pm followed by an emotional send off by whoever's on duty.

Are we not in N6 from 8:30am-1:00pm on Monday?
Hence why I said 12:55 PM (as in five minutes before 1pm)!

Not sure although it would be great if the NC is outside N8 and go to another studio for the final few hours of broadcasting from TVC. It will give viewers the chance to get used to seeing a live backdrop of a newsroom and after all the BARCO in N8 is very tiring because it has been the same backdrop for the past 5 years. I reckon they will be away from N8 on Monday, with the new graphics being unveiled at 0830 and also the new countdown being unveiled at 1300 when the NC goes live from NBH. Because at the end of the countdown it will show footage of NBH like it does with WN countdowns. If we don't see N8 on Monday then I reckon we will see a final shot of the entire BBC News studio during the last BBC News Weekend bulletin tomorrow night at 10:10pm. Then BBC News Channel will cross over to BBC World News until 6:00am until 08:30am and then we will see BBC News from a different studio in TVC until 13:00 when the One O Clock News bulletin airs from NBH. I wonder what the main BBC News Channel studio will be because I have seen a panoramic photograph of the studio which has a news desk that is near the main newsroom whereas when I have seen the promo, I saw another newsroom that was behind Jane. Maybe the newsroom that is behind Jane in the promo is the main studio whereas the newsroom that I saw in the panoramic picture could be the One, Six and Ten news bulletins. Does anybody know more about studio E and where BBC News Channel is exactly presenting from on monday

You seemed to have confused N6 with N8 - the News channel comes from N6, and most of what you've written will likely not happen. N6 will no doubt be in operation until 1pm Monday afternoon, and it will probably look the same as it does now. We've heard that 1pm is the time where the switch happens, so it's likely that the new countdown and new graphics will all launch then.
The nationals and the news channel will share the same studio, and I believe the News channel will come from Studio C (World News' studio), if A) World News aren't in it (which I don't think they are at 1 and 6 and B) they need to break away from a National bulletin.
