You're right, the globe animations are slightly shorter. I think the botched reworking of the music made it all seem longer than it was. The way they've dodgily looped the start of the music still sounds rubbish. It almost sounds like it's out by a beat.
I think they've either fixed the skipped beat in the music or the more you hear it the less noticeable it becomes. I can't tell which! I agree it was there earlier in the pilots though.
The animation is not the same length.
It's considerably shorter.
The music has been re-worked by David, to make it work to the storyboard.

The BBC Broadcasting House seems to be very strict as I saw a link on here earlier which had a piece from the guardian saying about the glitches from Broadcasting House. In the article it had rules about what the staff can and can't do while NC is on air. To me it sounds as if they have gone back to school and have rules which they must follow. Example: We'd like to avoid gatherings either side of the studio at the bottom of the spiral stairs- walking through is fine.
