The studio, indeed, is Studio C's twin studio... except that it has a newsroom background.

Very observant of you.

I tell you what I have observed, the spiral staircase, its quite close to the actual set and there is a difference I think in that theres more projector screens on the right hand side of the set.

Adam Parsons will be doing the 6:30pm shift on the News Channel. His final from TVC. He's asking on Twitter: how would us TV News Junkies like him to sign off his final farewell from TVC this evening? Any ideas? Time permitting.

If so, he's at @adamparsons1

Almost bedtime in Dubai. Enjoy your final Friday at TVC, folks! X

Some of that is obvious, but I suppose it has to be said...

I may sound ridiculous, but will there be any rebranding of BBC News, as it happened with BBC WN?

Well I hope we see a better version of the new graphics then BBC World's, theres no waves in the new graphic and the transitions are much more simple, looking at the guardian article suggusts the ticker is going to be same colour as the bbc news red.

Yes, the problem is always that people get used to being able to do certain things or go certain places... and then suddenly everything goes live and everyone has to be more careful. Even the obvious stuff has to be said because some people lack common sense or awareness of what's going on around them

Now that the trailer's out, here's a picture of Studio E from a different vantage point. It was taken a couple of months ago when I was volunteering and piloting the new studios for World News and NC.

Monday at 1pm - if I'm not mistaken it's all transferring over at the One O'Clock news
