The BARCOs looking particularly awful today. Oh well, only a few days left to put up with them! Maybe they're purposely making them look awful so we can want the new look and not miss the current one!

I don't see news channel that often but I am so glad they are coming out of that shoebox set they've called home since 2008/9, never thought it was a good move in the first place it was great when they were in N8 the presentation was more dynamic as well.

Rory Cellan-Jones has produced a farewell TVC piece... Not sure if this has been linked on here yet.

In other news, the Sky EPG for the News channel has been updated and now shows Clive's evening paper reviews. It seems that they are now calling it 'The BBC News at Five' - rather than Five o'clock, also.

Plus, the HD flags are now showing on BBC One HD for the News at One, Six and Ten from next Monday - not for the overnight simulcasts mind you.

N8 Watch

Why they cant switch on the newsroom lights for at least an hour, I just don't understand, I hope they give us a final shot of the whole studio tomorrow.

I tweeted one of the BBC News directors about N8 - who responded saying that due to the timing nature of tomorrow's News at 10 (I.e being on at 10:30) - N8 may be seen on screen longer than half an hour tomorrow - due to CR not usually running to time.

That's great Worzel it will be good to see N8 for an extra hour it's the last time we'll ever see it.

Has N9 finally been shut down for good?

They are really making sure that all TV Forumers will miss N8...

As I've said before, N8 was looking sexy in the last couple of years. Will be missed.

Why don't the News Channel open other lights in N8 a bit? Looking dark as if it will be closed. Rolling Eyes
