The first programme will come from Iraq, to coincide with the 10th anniversary of the Iraq war. John Simpson attempts to answer the question, ‘Does Iraq have a future?’. Home Editor Mark Easton asks ‘What happened to the teenage rebel?’. Stephanie Flanders, the BBC’s Economics Editor, examines ‘Is London bad for Britain?’ and Science Editor David Shukman asks ‘Does extinction matter?'.
There is some strange stuff going on tonight. Just went straight into the sport with no link in N8.
The same happened at 6:30pm. They should have at least played the sport titles or news sting before starting the bulletin though. It seemed quite messy suddenly going to the sport from a trailer.

And now Chris Eakin in N8. Obviously ran.
Extremely poorly lit... but what do we expect lol.

They started at 9:30 with Sport from Salford before rejoining Chris
Sounds rather like the presenter due to appear couldn't make it at short notice, hence Jon appeared (who presumably is staying in London specifically for this period - isn't he usually based out in the West Country?) at 7pm and then Chris appeared an hour later. I'm guessing it'll be different tomorrow.

Not that it matters, better to save money than power up loads of lights for a short broadcast. To think, we're just a few days away from never seeing N8 again! It will definitely be more missed than N6 - who can prefer a grey box with a poor quality virtual backdrop? Personally, can't wait to see the back of N6, it's been a long time coming!
