I'm also glad they've shrunk down the boxed logo too, much less intrusive - but still clear.
Its possibly because it was made at NBH? i hope we dont get a world like situation where the trailers have one box size in a different position to the boxed logo generated at NBH which is smaller but positioned more to the left.
Agreed, it would be better if it was entirely single headed, thus I'm hoping that since they've left out a certain two evening presenters that they are both gone... but more likely they just arent in the trailer.
I seen on twitter that they would move at 1.00 for the national news but surely they wouldn't do that because the 1.30 back half hour would be displaced with four different presenters in that 11-2 shift on the day?!
It could be me... but that makes absolutely no sense whatsoever.

- The newsroom background is somehow disappointing, I guess I expected it to look more impressive. It probably will, in wider shots but what we see here reminds me of the 2003 fake newsroom background used for nationals.
- The desk looks identical to Worlds, the surface looks black too even though it looked white in that first real photo we got. I guess it was a white cover on top of it.
- I don't think you can make conclusions about the channel going single headed full time from this promo. It would be a terrible change imo, just like it was for Sky. Also we know Matthew & Jane rehearsed together and in this promo both are featured but with the new presentation style (1 presenter at desk, other at newswall for the opening). Plus the desk is big enough for 2 presenters (5am GMT hour of World) it's only they put Jane in the middle of it for this promo.
- Finally, the promo would look much better if they used that awesome music from World promo

The move will be at 1300. Not sure what the plan is with presenters, but don't forget that just like when World moved, there'll be someone standing by at TVC all afternoon just in case.

Agree it doesn't look amazing in the promo but I saw a slightly wider shot the other day that looked fantastic. Like the current background but real.
Film 24 is to be renamed 'The Film Review'. Still presented by Gavin Esler and Mark Kermode, and still at 5.45 and 9.45pm, but it will appear on the EPG for the first time.
And the paper review with Clive Myrie is also on the EPG, starting at 10.30 and 11.30 named 'The Papers'. Sportsday is moved to 10.45 and 11.45, but also remains at 6.30 each evening.
The music used in that promo is nice, new beds perhaps? Lots of nice little subtle musical flourishes that I can here in there, nice sound strings too!

Yep there are refreshed beds and title music. Some are brand new beds, some are just simple tweaks to the existing music.
All looks rather shiny and new, and it'll certainly be nice to have a bit more variety in the way the NC is presented. The only thing I'm not keen on are those ugly grey lift doors in the background.
