The benefit of using N9 in the past was that it wasn't being used for anything else, so rehearsals etc could easily be accommodated. The studios at NBH are all in use every day.
I guess Studio A will be used for the Jeremy Vine bits in the future?
CAR, the Central Apparatus Room which, amongst other things, handles comms circuits in and out of the W12 buildings.
Yup. Well, to be pernickety, Central Communications Area - CCA includes CAR and Sat Ops. The new Sat Ops operation won't be live yet, and there isn't really sufficient connectivity between CCA and NBH to support a whole election programme - whereas there are plenty of internal lines in TVC.
Looks good, although the newsroom looks darker in the studio than I'd have thought. Then again, it depends what time it was filmed at. Also looks as though the desk isnt big enough for two

By the looks of some sort of vignette effect has been applied - it shouldn't be that dark in use.

It's about the same size if not bigger than Midlands Today, and they manage.
Was only having single headed presentation on the News Channel part of DQF?

Well it said there was no longer a requirement to have two presenters for breaking news, from what I can remember
