BBC News Channel: Presentation

Not that it matters this close to the move, but since the 6 is the only program right now using TC7, I presume that the desk and trays are just left there, why not use that studio for the 2130 back half hour?

TC7 is also used by the 8pm 90-second update.

What do the phrases "news channel in C break out one" and "break one six" mean?

I assume this means that if the News channel need to opt out of the 1 they can use studio c, and if they need to opt out of the 6, they can use studio A.

If this is the case it will be interesting to see N24 share studio C with WN. But it is hard to see why 'nationals' are appropriate for a live actual newsroom backdrop (as opposed to virtual-abstract one) hence I feel 'nationals' are more appropriate for C.

Another weird thing is we know that the back half of the 21.00 hour comes from N8 in order for the 'nationals' to prepare at N6. In the absence of additional comments, we can only assume continuity at studio E between the two.
