Maybe in case there was UK news serious enough for the NC to break away, in which case the broadcaster would definitely have covered the full programme on at least one UK channel?

I don't think I've ever seen the Barco's used as they were tonight with an interview and debate between 2 guests.

Excellent on screen debate about Badger Culls, why can't the News channel do more interviews like this?

About 8-9 minutes ago.

As well as the debate being fantastic, the full side Barco wall was used to display the 2 guests, rather than cropping them into the usual short box style.

Eh? They do interviews with 2 guests all the time

I was commenting on how they used the Barco's tonight. With both interviewees taking up the full length of the long side of the Barco wall.

It's ok I guess but to me news channel is in a boxed studio with a round table, it hasn't been the same since they moved out of n8

It's quite sad to see N8 with no reporters/staff in the background. What was a fantastic live newsroom view used for years on News 24, soon - never to be seen on screen, again.

Interesting the wipe that was used for the headlines recap.
