Was there not a rumour a few months back that they would have a live Dolly Track across the Newsroom at the Top of each Hour?

Well, BBC WN didn't do that live shot across the newsroom.

I Know. But it would be a little hard to have two live shots at the TOTH as presumably if they are doing it, it would be after the Titles and in the hold.

Your opinion makes my mind thinking that live shots would be pre-recorded, but I assume the News Channel can do it live as World News didn't do it.

No, what I am saying is that if NC and WN both did a LIVE Newsroom Sweep, Unless it happened straight after the Countdown it would be hard to do as the Headline Sequences on both channels aren't the same length, would be very hard to do.

Would the channel that shows the sweep first not do it live? And then the other channel would use a recorded version of that live sweep or, depending on how long it is between sweeps, do another one live?

I really hope World uses these live newsroom shots too, current same shot of studio C is already quite boring.

The sweep of the news room (not live) is on the World News countdown so presumably it'll be on the News Channel countdown as well.

News channel on its own for the Pistorius bail hearing.

Saw the 1am bulletin this morning, however, is it the norm now for them to open with WN titles but not show the WN logo where it usually should be? Looked a bit bland without it...

As mentioned several times before, the 'box' logo is generated live in NBH, so when NC move in, programmes can simulcast, but the branded box can be that of the Channel or World at the same time!

But there was no branded box at all...

Because the News channel hasn't moved in to NBH yet so it can't be generated locally?

It's probably just one of those niggly 'in-between move' things people will have to live with.

Does anyone know if BBC Parliament will be adopting the new news style graphics? I know they aren't 'moving' as such - but it would make sense.
